ABOUT US

Our Story

We are a family run business who between us and our team have over 30 years of experience with all different breeds. In October 2019, I decided to take the plunge and offer pet services full-time. I handed in my notice, bought a dog van, started building up our Social Media presence, created a website and began the exciting journey of running a pet business. Offering even more pet services such as; dog walking, pet sitting, cat sitting and offering a pet taxi service.

During the Covid pandemic, the business grew from strength to strength and we made the decision to recruit 2 new staff members so we could take on more dogs.

We simply adore animals!

Fear not: your dog will be taken care of with the love and respect it truly deserves. We plan fun walks and give pets the care and attention they need at all times. We will always try to maintain the animal’s usual routine to make their visit as stress-free as possible, whether they are with us for an hour, a day or every week.

Saying goodbye to your dog has never felt easier. We have the time and affection to spare for any dogs that use our services and you can leave them in our care with confidence. We know how special they are to you, so, in return, we provide a special service to them.

Fully Insured

We are insured for all the services we offer including: Travelling with animals and walking dogs off lead (We will need you to sign a document to say that you would like us to do this). We do, however, recommend that you take out your own insurance too.

Qualified

You can be rest assured that your dog will be in safe hands. Our team have various qualifications in Animal Day Care, Pet First Aid, Pet sitting & Dog Walking, Dog Behavior and we are currently working on our Level 3 Diploma in Professional Day Care and Boarding.

Experienced

Collectively, we have over 20 years experience working with all different dog breeds, ages, sizes, temperaments and with various other pets. We have owned and looked after many rescue dogs/pets and are willing to spend time and patience with any dogs that may take a while to warm to us.

I grew up with dogs since a very young age. My mother worked for Animal Rescue, so we had various breeds staying with us, who had many different issues from being mistreated or abandoned. We also had 2 gorgeous rescue retrievers, Sam & Boo. I also worked for Stone Bridge City Farm for 7 years which enabled me to have experience with all different farm animals including rabbits, quails, turtles, ducks, cats etc.

Demi-Leigh Andrews

Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

I’m Demi, I currently have three cats, Remy, Buddy and Winter, who keep me busy at home. Growing up, we’ve always had dogs in the house, from new-born puppies to old aged dogs. My first ever dog was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Ben, who taught me from a very young age the duties and responsibilities of dog ownership. I enjoy walking dogs and looking after all different animals, as I believe each have their own quirks and personalities that are interesting to get to know and build a relationship with.

Joe Parnell

Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

Hi, my name is Joe and I’m absolutely thrilled to be working for Furbabies and helping to look after the dogs and other animals. I have had a full CRB/DBS check. I am a dog walker with lots of experience with different breeds. I currently own two dogs. One is a black pug named Stormy, the other is a fawn pug named Dolly. They are completely different characters; they are my entire world. They enjoy going on walks every day, however, on occasion, I think I enjoy it a little bit more than they do. It puts a smile on my face to see them happy. I am, and always have been, passionate about animal care and welfare. I grew up caring for several pets which developed my interest in this area. In the future I aspire to become a veterinary nurse.

Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

I’m Saffron. I am 22 years old and have been surrounded by animals since birth. We have always had cats and dogs, and also more unique pets like rats, parrots and tortoises. I have cared for foster pets, end of life pets and my own furbabies. I love building a bond with animals and could never dream of having a home with no pets. I currently have 2 staffies called Trevor and Edith, and 5 cats!
